It all started when….

The founder of Caritas, Nick Khoury saw a tremendous need in the world for therapists who are well trained in integrating the disciplines of counseling psychology and Catholic theology. He saw that Catholics did not have a solid Catholic solution in the area of Psychotherapy and Counseling. Nick has studied the intricacies of both disciplines and believes wholeheartedly that together they provide powerful solutions to Catholics seeking integrated wellness, deeper peace, and more profound happiness.

Nick obtained a B.A. in Philosophy from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, where he learned extensive foundational Catholic views of the human person. After this, he went on to obtain a M.A. from Oakland University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He also spent years studying great works of Catholic Theology. Led by the Holy Spirit this extensive training from multiple perspectives gives him the unique ability to understand his clients from a multi-dimensional stand point.
